Pezulu Tree House Lodge

We’d like to hear from management about a possible refund for our second night. My husband and I stayed one night at Pezulu Treehouse Lodge on our honeymoon, after telling the lodge in advance that we needed to change our two-night reservation to one night. A staff member confirmed the change and said it was “no problem at all.” At checkout, we found we’d still been charged for both nights, which hadn’t been explained to us beforehand. The staff member agreed the matter should be reviewed and said she would ask the owners about refunding the extra night, less a 10% admin fee. Over the following weeks, I sent five emails, several WhatsApp messages, and Instagram messages. My WhatsApp messages were seen, but I haven’t had a response. We really enjoyed our stay and hope someone from management can contact us so we can resolve this directly.

The rooms and location were lovely and just as we expected. Everyone was very nice, but at the price we paid, I expected service that went a little further. It was missing that extra bit of effort you’d expect in this price range.

Seeing giraffes, zebras, and impalas right outside our Dream Tree House each morning was unforgettable. We also loved the bush walk, especially spotting a Sable so close. It was a refreshing, energizing outing. Pezulu Tree House Lodge was a wonderful place to relax and reconnect. The architecture was stunning, and Sandy and the team made us feel so welcome with their hospitality. Thank you for a magical stay. We hope to come back soon!

The tree houses blend beautifully with the surroundings, with big windows and decks where you can watch the sunrise or look out for animals. The outdoor shower was a fun, unusual touch. Staff and management were friendly and helpful, from the welcome drinks to the guided drives. The chefs and rangers all went out of their way to make things easy and memorable. We loved every minute at Pezulu. The boma dinners under the stars were magical, with five-star food and wine. It’s a real chance to recharge in nature while still being comfortable. A lovely escape from everyday life, and the bush is right there around you.
