A great, peaceful, quiet place to get away. The new owners are putting in a lot of effort to improve it, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for some real peace and quiet. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that the hot water geyser was acting up, which is a pain for me.

The children of John and Katie Jo are hands-on, friendly, and helpful, and we were welcome to pick from the lovely vegetable and herb garden. It’s a family-run property with so much to see: pet dogs, a cat, pig, cows, sheep, geese, chickens, wild birds, buck and jackles. There are dams with bass too, though unfortunately we didn’t catch any. I grew up in a farming community, and the first thing I told my wife when we arrived was how much it reminded me of the farm where I grew up. It’s a serene place to relax and unwind. We’ll definitely return with our two grandchildren. The peace and love here make it the kind of place people want to come back to.
