I really enjoyed staying here over Easter weekend 2026 while visiting family nearby. The room had the comfort, privacy, and luxury I expected, and it was cleaned and tidied every day, with fresh towels and the bed made. I made myself breakfast in the dining room and it was great. There’s also secure parking for the car. Thanks, Jenny, for the lovely room. Sorry I missed you on my way out. See you next time.

The breakfast was delicious, and the Wi-Fi was pretty fast. Our quiet, comfortable room was in a peaceful, green setting with a lovely garden. Jenny was a friendly and helpful host. Country Lane is a great place to stay, and affordable too.

We’ve tried a few places in Howick, and this one is easily our favourite. It’s safe and tidy, the rooms are clean and have everything you need, and Jenny is a lovely host. We’ll be back.
