Right in the heart of Howick, this BnB is clean, spacious, and well cared for, with easy access to the main roads. It’s got a quaint feel, too. Peter was a lovely host and gracious even when I checked in really late. I’d stay here again and again!

The walk from the car to the room was a long trek, so I only took the bare minimum in to avoid carrying everything back in the morning. The electric blankets and hot shower were appreciated in the very cold weather. I felt R100 was steep for my very small dog, about the size of a mini dachshund, to stay the night. That would probably put me off staying here again.

I liked the place overall. I’d strongly suggest getting double beds and new mattresses.

The rooms were very cozy, on historical grounds, and there’s secure parking on site.

A really lovely spot. I'd happily recommend it.
