John and Shirley were so friendly and accommodating. The cottage is spacious, really cozy, and has everything you need. I’d highly recommend it if you’re coming to the Midlands for a wedding.

A quirky, cozy place with lots of character and great value. The location worked perfectly for us, with quick access on and off the highway.
We had a great time with the family and slept well. The pool was lovely, and the place has that good old farm feel. It was very relaxing, though you can hear some noise from the nearby N3.
The hosts made us feel very welcome, and the patio has stunning views. Our two-night stay was quiet and relaxing, and the accommodation was clean and well equipped. I’d gladly come back and recommend it.
The good points were the farm setting, cattle grazing nearby, a beautiful garden, and a braai stand guests can use. The kitchen was also very good, with utensils for self-catering. But there wasn’t enough water, and the taps could run dry during our stay. The toilets and bathrooms had no doors that closed, the bathrooms weren’t tiled, and the old fittings, lack of burglar guards, and absence of proper closets were disappointing. We also got an unfriendly welcome. The venue was noisy because it’s next to the highway to Johannesburg.
