The location is handy, with shops and fast food nearby, and the WiFi was stable. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean. Still, the stay left me disappointed. The room didn’t match what I saw on the website, and for what I paid, I expected more. There was no air conditioning, the fan barely helped with the heat, and both the small fridge and kettle were on the floor. It lacked any wow factor, and I’m not sure I’d choose this guesthouse again. I’ve stayed at many guesthouses, and this wouldn’t make my top 20. The facilities need attention. The Boma area needs a redo, and seeing the scrap yard behind the BOMA was a real shock. The grass needs cutting, and a swimming pool would be a welcome addition. The dining area was also very dusty. Don’t expect five-star facilities, most of what’s here isn’t in the best condition. There’s potential here, and if the place changes, it could become number one in this location. But that remains to be seen.

The rooms, made from repurposed train cars, are decorated in a distinctive way, and everything was clean, tidy, and in its place. We slept comfortably, and the free WiFi was great. The hostess was warm and welcoming. Security around the grounds seemed well covered, with CCTV cameras, electric fencing, motorized gates, and more. I’d happily recommend a visit.

Eva was a lovely, accommodating hostess, and staying in the train carriage was a treat. It’s been transformed in a really clever, creative way. We skipped breakfast and supper since there were plenty of places to eat nearby. The N3 is close, and Superspar is just a block away. Thank you for the stay!

The garden cottages are charming, clean little places made from upcycled train cars. The host went above and beyond to accommodate me. The area isn’t the best part of town, but I felt safe. They’ve only recently acquired the property, so there’s plenty of work to do. I can see the quality improving over time.

The rooms are comfortable, and the whole place, including the property and dining room, was exceptionally clean. The owners are caring and go out of their way to make sure you have what you need for a peaceful, comfortable stay. The price is very reasonable too. As long as they’re there, I won’t stay anywhere else.
