413 The Tyrwhitt Rosebank

The location is a big plus, and the views from the private balcony were relaxing. I liked the modern decor, the amenities and security, and found the room and shower a reasonable size. It’s affordable too, so I’d still recommend staying here to friends and family, and I’m keen to book again. My main issue was the cold: there was no air-conditioning or heater, and even after I asked, no extra blankets were provided. I hope they add heating or at least make extra blankets available.

The one-bedroom unit I visited was nicely equipped and decorated, with a dishwasher and washing machine but no dryer. Electricity is prepaid, and cleaning costs extra. The apartments are modern and have high security.

The apartment was clean and modern, and both the staff and security were very friendly. The bed was a little uncomfortable, though.

Rosebank Mall is close by, which was the one real convenience I found. My stay at The Tyrwhitt Serviced Apartments was deeply disappointing. The linen didn’t seem properly cleaned, and the service was appalling. Staff didn’t seem interested in sorting out problems, and that indifference continued throughout my stay. The WiFi didn’t work in our apartment, so I couldn’t get any work done. The layout felt cramped and impractical, with no suitable workspace, which I expected from serviced apartments. It also didn’t feel child-friendly: they charge extra for a baby cot, which came across as needless nickel-and-diming. Compared with 54 on Bath, the service and amenities there were far better. If you want a comfortable, convenient stay in Rosebank, I’d look elsewhere.
