The cockroaches were everywhere, even in the shower, and the bedding had holes. The towels were old, curtains very dirty, paint was peeling, and corridor lights didn’t work. At the entrance, it was dirty with lots of people standing by the door, while the reception was crowded with boxes and felt unwelcoming. The lift was out of order, and the receptionist said it had been that way for four years. Most annoying of all, the hotel was nonrefundable.

It’s a nice place to stay, but the blankets and sheets need an upgrade. They also need to keep the cockroaches under control.

Quiet and safe, and one of the best spots in Jozi.

The entrance is often crowded with hawkers and nyaope guys, and sometimes the lights don't work. The rooms are small, with no air conditioning or even ceiling fans. The price listed on the website feels like a scam.

The bathroom tap leaked, leaving the floor wet, and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly. The linen was dirty, and cockroaches were everywhere, crawling under the bed and along the walls. It was a horrible experience.
