Hayat Hotel 94Juta

The hotel is very good and clean. The only thing that put me off was a receptionist saying I hadn’t paid for my accommodation, even though I’d paid when I booked online. They sorted it out and apologized, and apart from that, it was a good stay.

The rooms are clean and neatly arranged, and they come with heaters, a kettle, coffee, a microwave, and an iron. It’s a convenient, clean hotel in an okay location. I’d add headboards, side tables, and larger bathroom mats.

Hayet Hotel left me extremely disappointed. I’d confirmed my booking a week ahead and checked again by phone, but at the last minute they told me the room wasn’t available because of flooding. Their handling of it felt unprofessional and left me stranded in Johannesburg without another arrangement. I was frustrated with the service.

The parking lot feels very safe. The area does get crowded with trucks unloading materials, and there’s usually one or two people drinking by the back entrance.
