Homestay travel guesthouse and conference centre

I felt safe here, and there’s adequate parking behind the security gates. The staff were happy to help with a few requests, and the pool was a lovely clear blue, surrounded by cute landscaping. We were here for a short stay for a wedding, and the room was a good size with a really nice shower. The TV only had DSTV, but there were thoughtful extras: a welcome drink, a well-stocked tea and coffee tray, free biscuits, and bottled water in the fridge. I’d definitely recommend it.

The place is peaceful, with an eclectic design, and it’s right beside a gas station. Anita was a wonderful, kind host who paid close attention to what guests needed and offered complimentary drinks on arrival. The rooms are neat and tidy, with toiletries and a stocked snack bar, plus a hot shower, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. There’s also a Mi Box for Netflix. Some rooms are solar powered. Highly recommended!

I only meant to stay for two days and ended up staying a whole week. Greg and the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable the entire time. I stayed in several different rooms, and each one was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Most of the time, I got what I needed without even asking. It was a peaceful stay, and having restaurants and other amenities close to the Lodge was a nice bonus. I’d definitely recommend Homestay anytime!

I’m looking forward to the rest of the week here. The peace and quiet are what I’m enjoying most, and I’d recommend this place to overseas visitors, especially because feeling safe matters. It’s only my first day, but breakfast was awesome. I arrived 15 minutes before 9, and Greg and the lovely ladies preparing the food still helped me graciously.
