Houghton Executive Suites

I left my phone in an Uber, and the driver wasn’t responding and didn’t seem likely to bring it back. Since I was leaving the country early the next morning, I’m so grateful that the Houghton hotel security team, especially Gordon and Mark, and the hotel driver drove an hour at night to a sketchy part of Johannesburg to get it back. They were sincere and went above and beyond. Thank you so much! 🙏 The rest of the team were wonderful throughout our stay too. We enjoyed the food, the spa, and the lovely rooms. We’ll most definitely be back! 🙏🙏🙏

I only visited for a summit in one of the event or conference rooms, so it’s a little hard to rate the hotel itself. The room was neat and had a good sound and visual setup. From the moment you enter the boom, security are welcoming and thorough, and the staff who showed me where to go were great. Nothing negative to mention.

It’s a little farther from the Sandton business area, but the trip is worthwhile. The venue works well for large functions, with strong conference facilities, professional management, helpful staff, and good quality catering. A fantastic upmarket hotel and function venue.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the location was great. I had an amazing stay in a beautiful, well presented room, and the hotel has some incredible facilities. I’d really recommend it.
