There were plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, and getting picked up was easy. Every e-hailing driver knew the place, so pickups were quick. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It’s in an excellent location that feels very safe, making it a pleasant, easy base for exploring Joburg. We’d definitely return.

The lobby music could be turned down a bit, but otherwise I’d definitely recommend this hotel. It’s right in the heart of Rosebank, beside a pedestrian street with lots of restaurants and shops, and just one block from the Gautrain station. Taking the train to and from the airport was incredibly easy and felt safe. The modern upscale decor is lovely, the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and all the staff were welcoming and friendly.

The lifts were the one frustrating part, since they were busy and slow. Otherwise, it’s a great hotel, with attractive, clean, spacious rooms and a lovely look overall. The coffee shop makes great coffee, and breakfast is good. Just know that the buffet is only one part of it, with the made-to-order food being the main offering. Restaurants, bars, and shops are all very conveniently close.

Getting an Uber right at the hotel entrance usually isn’t possible, so you have to walk a few meters to meet it. That’s not much trouble most of the time, but it can be awkward with lots of luggage. The hotel itself is stunning, the rooms feel very luxurious, the food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
