The garden was beautiful, and we loved sitting there. We also adored Leo, our lovely dog. The ladies looking after us were so helpful and amazing, with the friendliest, most helpful service we'd experienced. Margaret's place was wonderful, and if we return to Johannesburg, we'll definitely stay at this hotel again.

We had a quiet, peaceful stay and would definitely recommend it.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and I felt safe and comfortable throughout my 10 nights of self-isolation. I requested cleaning every second day, which they did, rather than daily. The place was comfortable, with a small kitchen that had everything I needed for meals, good Wi-Fi, and a TV with plenty of DStv channels. The bed was comfortable too. I enjoyed the amazing pool and garden, and the lovely birdsong. The laundry and dryer were good and token-operated. I'd recommend Margaret's place.

Margaret's Place did better than we expected throughout our four-night stay. The booking was seamless, and Margaret went above and beyond to welcome our family, including our pet babies. She was friendly but professional from the first phone enquiry through checkout. Service this good is rare these days. Highly recommended every day of the week, 10 stars!

I’d happily stay at Margaret's place again when I’m back in Johannesburg. The room was fully furnished with everything I needed, and the house felt friendly and secure. I’m afraid of dogs, but Margarete was very understanding about that. She has three lovely dogs, all kept inside the main house, so I never had to meet them directly. She really does her best to make guests feel welcome.
