Our apartment was handled by Propr, and this was the worst stay we’ve had in the area. We paid for a tiny room with no sleep because the neighbors were loud, and Propr took no action when we reported the problems. We had also specifically asked them to leave our replacement bedding at reception, but they entered our room without asking first. It’s advertised as an executive aparthotel, but that’s far from the reality. There’s no sound insulation, so every little thing from neighbors or people in the hallway comes through. Stay away.
We stayed in unit 444, hosted by ArchiCon Properties. I’d avoid both this host and building, at least until it’s finished, maybe in two years. It feels like a construction site, with very loud work carrying on late into the night and starting again at 5am. The room is too small for two people as advertised, and the Airbnb photos are misleading. Reception was inefficient and communication was poor. Nobody showed us the lift, explained parking, or offered a second key. Check-in dragged on, and the biometric machine seemed glitchy. That was a preview of the stay: the restaurant played loud music even though guests are threatened with fines for noise. We were also sent a long list of fines and strict rules on arrival, which felt very unwelcoming. Finding our parking bay was a struggle. The security guard told us to drive around looking, but our number didn’t have a bay. We eventually contacted the host and got a shocking attitude. They just told us to use a bay with an orange circle, something nobody had mentioned. There are very few of those, so each time we parked it was hard to find one. Walking to the mall means going through a taxi rank, and the area is horrible. The whole place feels half-finished. I’d never stay here again or recommend it.
The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, though ours was missing soap and a hairdryer. Luckily, we’d brought our own. Having Epicure Restaurant right there was the best part, and I’d definitely recommend eating there. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and the location is great for walking to attractions like the Museum of Illusions.
We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. Our 11-month-old daughter had room to move around safely because the rooms were spacious and lovely. The views were pretty decent too. The service was stunning, and we’ll definitely be coming back with the family.
The apartment was lovely and clean, and there’s enough space for a solo visit or a stay with a partner. I was impressed by how well we were hosted. Thanks to Mr Mfundo, the concierge, for making sure we enjoyed our stay.
