Thaba Eco Hotel

The views from my room were breathtaking, and I loved how the modern, almost brutalist style sat against the forests and hills. Golf carts made it easy to get around, and the porter service was very efficient. I’d have liked more time to explore the trails and the rest of the property. I was nominated for an award at my company, and my stay at Taba Eco Hotel felt like a treat from beginning to end. The modern luxury setting in the bush was unlike anywhere else. My room was stunning, with expansive windows that made me feel immersed in the surroundings. The bathroom was huge, and the stocked minibar and snack fridge, coffee station, gown, and slippers were thoughtful touches. Breakfast at the Kraal restaurant was lovely, with a good menu at reasonable prices and wonderful staff. Service throughout the stay was exceptional. There was no waiting, and everything just worked. I felt spoiled the whole time. An unforgettable experience.

The reservation team was responsive, supportive, and always willing to help. The Eco Guide experience was excellent, and the security, hotel, and spa staff all added to our stay. A special thanks to Zamambo Zilwa, Trecia, and Fufu for their warmth, professionalism, and exceptional service. They went above and beyond to make it memorable. We booked the celebrations package at Thaba Eco Hotel with a romantic set-up, and every detail was arranged perfectly. The atmosphere and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. Travis made the Eco Drive such a fun and interesting outing with his stories and jokes. He was engaging, informative, and really good at what he does. My husband and I loved the peaceful scenery and tranquility. Thanks for a wonderful experience. We’ll come again with our kids.

The E Bar looks incredible, and the food was amazing. But I had four double shots of Monkey Shoulder and still didn’t feel as affected as I normally would by that much whiskey, especially since I’m a bit of a lightweight. I’m unhappy with that experience and unsure what was served, but it definitely didn’t seem like quality alcohol. I hope this has changed by the time we visit again.
