I felt uncomfortable doing my own thing because the lady kept watching us and came across as a bit rude. After we spilled something on the carpet and wiped it up, she still told us we had to replace it.

The rooms have an okay vintage look and the staff are friendly. My room was right by the balcony, though, so people smoking there were next to my window. I also wasn't happy with the broken showers.

The bathroom and kitchen were disgusting, and the pool was murky and dirty, with oil floating on it. Drinks were overpriced, and the room was cleared out early because the hostess said she was tired. She was rude to us throughout. While we were decorating and eating outside, she and another staff member kept hanging around and staring, and the kids spied on us too. We asked about moving furniture, but she didn't answer. She watched and helped us move it, then later complained that we hadn't asked. When we asked her to find somewhere for some chairs, she kept putting it off, then complained when we found a spot ourselves. We were nice to her, but she still treated us badly. The next day, while we were cleaning, she blamed us for breaking something that was already broken when we arrived. We'd asked her about it earlier and she ignored us. It felt like she was trying to scam us into paying for the repair, and we had to arrange someone to fix it.

It's a quiet, secure neighborhood, a nice spot if you're looking for somewhere away from distractions. The grounds are pretty and the view is amazing. The staff are friendly, and the food is good too.
