Gerda and her team made sure we felt at home and had everything we needed. The rooms were lovely, the setting beautiful, and the service was amazing. Such an excellent stay!

The Golf-themed room was spacious and beautifully furnished, and I slept really well. The bathrooms were a 5, and breakfast was five-star. Gerda and her staff were incredibly attentive. One of the best places I've stayed in years of travelling, easily in my top five. Wonderful!

Breakfast was world class, and Gerda and Koos Kruger are such warm, wonderful hosts. The guesthouse is absolutely gorgeous and I’d definitely recommend it. The woman handling bookings could use a bit more people skills, but that was a small hiccup in an otherwise five-star stay.

We felt right at home with the friendly, welcoming management. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the breakfast was made with love. The golf course setting is peaceful, close to nature, and surrounded by lovely camel thorn trees. It’s a great base for a stopover on the way to Kgalagadi National Park, Namaqualand, Richtersveld, Namibia, or Orange river rafting trips. It also works well for business travel in the area. We enjoyed our stay and the five-star experience so much that we don’t want to go back to four stars! Thanks for the great service. We’ll definitely return. 😁

The owners were warm and friendly, and the room was very clean with brilliant furnishings. Great setting too. I’d recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay in Kathu.
