The owners are really friendly and accommodating, and I'd absolutely come back. It's a quiet area, and though there's no sea view, you can hear the sea. The beach is just around the corner, within walking distance. The room is clean and has the basics, including a very comfortable king-size bed, a small fridge, and tea and coffee. The bathroom is spacious with a great shower. And if you love animals, there are three of the cutest cats outside!

The room was neat and clean, but safety comes first, and a door that won't lock is a big no for me. I also booked after seeing the pictures on lekkeslaap, but there was no beach view at all.

I stayed from Thursday to Monday and had a very pleasant time. The owners are super friendly, and the neighborhood is quiet and laid-back. Kidds Beach is just a stone's throw away, and you'll meet the friendliest cat on earth too! Best of all, there's a UPS for the WiFi, so you're never disconnected. The lights stay on during load shedding as well, which is a real plus right now.

The place has a lovely, quiet, home-away-from-home feel, but if you have a problem with cats, it might not suit you. We stayed three nights and were told our room wouldn't be cleaned because we were the only guests booked that weekend. It was dusty and full of fluff, and I felt we were being disregarded. Our room wasn't cleaned at all during the weekend.
