StableWood Lodge

The host welcomed us warmly and did everything possible to make us comfortable during our stay on Friday the 30th January 2026. The room and bed were tidy and comfortable, and the shower was awesome. They even went the extra mile to get us matches and blitz. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which only worked at the restaurant. Regular data signals weren’t good either. If you want peace, nice surroundings and exclusive privacy, do yourself a favour and visit this lovely place.

The view was amazing, and the peaceful natural surroundings made for a lovely weekend. We found the rooms spacious, with a bathroom in each one, and the kitchen was well equipped with gas stoves. The services were great too. It was a very pleasant stay.

The scenery was spectacular and I had no complaints. The amenities all worked, and room service was on the ball every day. Superb hospitality throughout our stay. I can see why this lodge is always fully booked. Thanks so much to aunty Rita and Monica for looking after us. 6/5!

StableWood Lodge was such a peaceful, tranquil place, a real gem near Kimberley for a night or two. We stayed for two nights and had plenty of privacy since the units are separate and set quite a distance apart. Our hosts made sure our needs were met and even serviced the unit at a time that suited us. The unit was spotless, modern and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed and a huge shower. The staff were friendly, willing to help and accommodating. We had a really pleasant stay.
