Royl Court Guesthouse

They hosted all 22 of us for the whole week. The service was excellent, the team friendly, and the rooms very neat. Well done, Royl Court team.

I'll definitely come back. Nice room, lekker food, and the best staff.

The location won me over: safe parking, and North Cape Mall is just a few steps away. I found my perfect place in Kimberley and won't stay anywhere else. The room is spacious and lovely, with plenty of storage, and the room, bathroom, kitchenette, towels, and bed were all spotless and crisp. As a germaphobe, I never once felt “gagga.” Everything from check-in to the amenities was perfect. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

The rooms look great inside and breakfast was good, but the service left a lot to be desired. Only one of the three rooms we had booked had a working spa bath. The bed cushions were so heavy and hard that we ended up sleeping on the decorative cushion throughout our four-day stay. The shower gel was empty for the first three days, and the complimentary shampoo, cream, and soap were supplied only on day one. On day four, they refused to give us another shampoo because the room's rule book says it's a gift. Even after paying full price, nothing was refreshed. Weekend guests also can't use the braai facilities because no one is available to clean them, despite paying the same rate as during the week. The rules feel rigid and the services are misleading. I'll be a regular visitor to Kimberley, but I won't return. It's the little things that keep guests, and the hospitality just wasn't there.
