The place itself was beautiful and felt homely, but the day to day details let the stay down. After returning to my room, I found toiletries hadn't been topped up, and the soap in the shower wasn't replaced either. The minibar fridge also wasn't restocked during the trip. The showers took a long time to warm up, and I ended up making the most of two cold showers. Breakfast was quite limited, laid out on the table each day with little choice if you wanted an extra treat or something different to try. I'd read lots of reviews and was really looking forward to staying at the BnB, so the weekday experience was disappointing in several ways. It's a lovely place, but I didn't feel it was worth the price.

The staff were friendly and did a lot to make us happy, which made the stay feel special. I had a lovely time, found it great value for money, and would definitely return. Thanks to Jenna and the team for the excellent service.

At about 22:00, when I arrived late, I was told there had been a double booking and that another guesthouse had been arranged for me. I called that B&B and they had no record of a booking from Barney Banato. The owner hadn't even tried to contact my travel agency to resolve it, and I found her very inconsiderate. I eventually went to the alternative place.

Everything was in order and the place was clean, tidy, and well explained. There was no water when I woke up, unfortunately, though I had been informed about it.
