We loved sitting on the deck at sunrise, listening to the huge variety of birds, and looking at the stars at night without city lights in the way. The views are stunning, and all the meals were delicious in that special setting. This place is run by a loving family who put care into every detail so guests can feel comfortable and have an unforgettable stay. We visited in January, when everything was so green and lush. This magical place will stay in my heart for a long time. We can't recommend it enough.

The people at Umvangati House really made our stay. The staff were kind, attentive, and warm, and we felt genuinely cared for the whole time. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully kept, with a welcoming home-away-from-home feel. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with care. The setting and view are breathtaking. It's easy to slow down, breathe, and feel connected to nature here. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I honestly couldn't find a fault. A true gem in Hoedspruit, and a definite 5/5 for us. I'd recommend it without hesitation to anyone visiting the area. We'll be back.

The private dining experience was lovely, and the rooms had so many thoughtful little details. We celebrated my birthday there, and the team went above and beyond to make it memorable. With spectacular views and a small, quiet, private setting in the mountains, it's the perfect place to get away from busy city life and fully decompress. We had the best time. Everything was perfect, and we really hope to return soon.

Even months after leaving, Umvangati House is still in my mind and heart. It was the absolute highlight of my South Africa trip, with views that truly take your breath away. The family, food, accommodations, and location were all pure perfection. The experience nourishes both body and soul. It deserves more than five stars.

The people were so welcoming, and the house and views are amazing. We stayed three nights but should have stayed longer. The area is incredible, and there’s so much to take in around you. Kruger NP is only an hour away, and Blyde river canyon is close too. So many people miss it, but it should be a must after any safaris. I took loads of photos and videos and will only post a few.
