The Urban Lodge

There was no invoice or receipt. After I reported the problems at reception, I was moved to another room, but it had plenty of issues too. In the first room there were no towels, the bedding wasn't ironed because the iron was broken, a curtain hook was missing, and the window wouldn't close. A towel was soaking wet behind the leaking toilet. In the second room the bedding was still unironed, the same iron was broken, and there was just one towel for a double room. The desk light didn't work, the bathroom window was almost impossible to close, and the TV looked ancient. The back of the entrance door was dusty. There was nowhere to put toiletries in the shower, the shower gel and shampoo shared one container while the other was empty, and a huge cable tie was holding the curtain rails together. At least the shower was refreshing with nice warm water. The air conditioning cooled brilliantly, and the bed felt good. Hopefully I'll get a decent night's sleep.
