Ammazulu African Palace

The birdsong in the morning and the peaceful atmosphere made this a memorable stay. I really enjoyed the kitchen setup: you order your food, then eat at a huge, lovely table overlooking an incredible view. AmmaZulu Palace Hotel is full of art, culture, and African spirit, with character in every corner and new details to notice each day. A beautiful, calm place. Highly recommend! 🌻🌻🌻

The view from our room was breathtaking, and the place has a magical, museum-like feel, with exquisite columns. There’s so much creative art to look at. It’s reasonably priced too, so I’d say the experience is worth it.

The first-class breakfast and a wonderful night of sleep in the quiet, natural surroundings made for a great stay. I was at Ammazulu African Palace for a photoshoot last week, and the staff made everything easy. When I arrived, we were ready to start within ten minutes. Earlier, my car had broken down at exit 22. My friend, who had arranged the shoot and was already at the venue, came to me within ten minutes with Martin, a venue employee. Martin waited with my car until the tow truck came, and then the manager picked him up. I was blown away by their commitment and service. I highly recommend Ammazulu African Palace.

The rooms were okay, but the place is miles out of the way. I visited a family member there from the UK, and the driveway badly needs work. It’s deteriorating so much that you’d almost need a 4x4 to get up it.
