Celeste, Pieter, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived after a long flight from the US. The clean, comfortable rooms bring African touches inside through thoughtful decor, and breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We stayed at Breena in early 2025, then planned another night there after about five weeks touring in a 4X4 truck, before flying home. We went there first to drop our things off before returning the truck. Luckily we did: as we turned toward Breena, the back of the truck's awning broke loose and dragged along the street. Pieter and one of his guys came straight out with a ladder in the pouring rain and reinstalled it so we could return the truck on time. Seeing them felt like coming home to friends after a long trip, too. We don't know when we'll be back in South Africa, but Breena will be high on our list. Many belated thanks!

Celeste and her family made me feel very welcome, and they handled my strict, complicated meal requirements with no fuss. The home-cooked food, friendly atmosphere, and warm hosting are all lovely. Really great hospitality, highly recommend!

Celeste made my quick overnight stop at Breena Guest House feel personal, taking care to make sure I was comfortable. The room was spotless and had everything I needed, and the food was delicious. I was there for just one night between flights, but the welcome made everything easy. A convenient, cosy place to stay over. I'll come back when I'm passing through.

This small, intimate lodge has a family feel and puts its focus on service. I felt at home, and the care they took with my requests was special.

A real gem of a guesthouse, owned and managed by a caring, amazing lady who goes out of her way to make you feel at home. That included my two Daschunds. Highly recommend.
