For peace and quiet in beautiful Knysna, African Breeze guesthouse is it. It’s a short walk from the lagoon, with lovely views on peaceful morning or afternoon walks. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and Steve was a perfect host. Breakfast was great every morning, and all the staff treated us like family. Perfect guesthouse, perfect setting!

Leisure Isle is peaceful and quiet, a welcome break from the daily racket. Our room was lovely and the price very reasonable, but my wife and I weren’t happy with the dining room service. The first morning, two fried eggs and bacon took nearly forty minutes. The next day, the same order plus a pancake took twenty minutes, and the pancake arrived cold. Simply not acceptable. It spoiled an otherwise enjoyable stay.

The pool is amazing, and breakfast was a treat every time. It’s a comfortable, lovely BnB on Leisure Isle, with lovely rooms and gracious hosts in Steve and his manager. The service was excellent and friendly all round. Hope to stay again!

The hosts were so lovely and accommodating, and the location right beside the lagoon is perfect. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the rooms were spacious and very clean. This was the best place I’ve stayed in South Africa. I couldn’t recommend it more and would absolutely come back.
