After long days of hiking, I really appreciated how clean and well-kept the rooms were. Everything felt fresh and tidy, and the comfort was just right for a few nights on my trip from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town. The guesthouse sits in a quiet area on a hill, with a stunning view over the Knysna Lagoon. Sitting and taking in the scenery in the morning and evening was a special part of the stay. The hosts were friendly and attentive, always there with help or recommendations. The bar is open at all times, which was great for a drink after a day exploring, and breakfast was included in the room rate. It was tasty and varied enough to get the day started with energy. This was an excellent stop in Knysna during my journey along the famous Garden Route. I’m glad I chose it, and would confidently recommend it to anyone traveling this route or looking for a welcoming guesthouse with spectacular views and quality service. It was a very pleasant experience and a great fit for this leg of my journey.

The German chef was great and made us feel at home. Mute and Mandy gave us a lovely welcome, and the rooms were very clean. The views of the Knysna heads were stunning, and they were very understanding of our needs.

We were the only guests during low season, but they still prepared breakfast as if the hotel were full. The staff were very nice to us. We spent three days in Knysna, and our room was spacious, with new furniture and a wonderful view.

The view over the city was amazing, and this was the best breakfast we had in South Africa. Everything was delicate, with an artistic touch. I loved the porcepine stick they used to hold the butter!
