Leisure Isle Lodge

The birthday lunch was a lovely memory for Granny. The team brought out a special dessert with a candle and sang Happy Birthday in both languages, which meant a lot to her. From arranging it by email through to the last sip of excellent coffee, everything was incredible. Thanks so much for the song and complimentary dessert. We’ll be back.

We keep coming back to this special spot on the lagoon at Bollard Bay on Leisure Island. The rooms look out over the water, the food is superb, and the staff are wonderful. There’s a lovely pool, plus inhouse bikes and kayaks to use, and plenty of good walks and safe cycling nearby. Check Daddy deals for specials. Thanks again, we’ll be back.

Even in winter, there was plenty to do, from beach runs and kayaking to morning strolls. The pool was open, though it was too cold for a swim. Our room was tidy, the beds comfortable, and the staff superb. We watched the tide change from our bay-facing room, with dramatic shifts in the water level. We also had two delicious dinners there and highly recommend them. A gorgeous place in a gorgeous setting.

The friendly service is what made our seven nights so happy. The staff seemed genuinely pleased to have us there, whether we came down early for breakfast or wanted a drink at 10 pm. I stayed at the Lodge with my husband and our three children, all 13 or younger. It’s right across from the beach, and the food was good too.
