Henry and his wife made us feel so welcome, it was such a pleasure to meet them 😊 The unit is very spacious, with a lovely kingsize bed and a second 3/4 bed, nice for a family of 4. It's in a peaceful area with FYNBOS all around and no street lights, so it feels like you're out in the bush 😀 I'd recommend OCEAN VIEW LODGE to anyone looking for self catering accommodation in KNYSNA.

The Knysna fires really took their toll. The view is absolutely amazing, but some facilities, like the outdoor cocktail bar and leisure activities, were destroyed. It's still a cute, quiet little lodge.

After 10 days there, I knew I wouldn’t stay again. The place was a disaster: nothing worked, and it didn’t look like anything ever would.
