We could have stayed much longer at “Angels Lair”. After just two nights, we were already sad to go, and I’d happily book it again for a longer visit. The unit is right by the water, with gardens and eclectic decor that feels thoughtfully put together. Everything was clean, cared for, and good quality. There was plenty of privacy, and having the unit serviced was a nice touch. We spent mornings and evenings on the deck daybed with coffee and those views. Low tide was a highlight for us, especially watching the kids play in the little pools. There are lots of stairs, but that didn’t bother us. Both bedrooms were lovely, with crisp white linen and comfortable mattresses and pillows. There’s one full bathroom; the bath is roomy, the shower had warm water and strong pressure, and we liked the mirror ceiling. The kitchen had what we needed and was spotless, and the big TV had Netflix and other options. We also made use of the good Weber braai. The woman who met us at the gate was incredibly friendly and explained everything, and the host was helpful too. I’d suggest adding some books and board games for guests to use, since we’d forgotten to bring any.

We loved the rooms, which were cosy, well maintained, and decorated beautifully. The staff were pleasant and helped us with our luggage and questions. The lagoon view across the whole property is wonderful, and there’s a path down to the beach, plus kayaks are provided. It was the loveliest stay of our trip.

Two Angels is a real gem. Each self-catering unit is laid out so you get privacy, and you can head straight out to the beach and lagoon. Daily room service is included, which is a lovely extra. The photos don’t capture how beautiful it is, and Robert made us feel so welcome. We’ll definitely come back.

You can step through the property’s own gate and be right by the lagoon. The place has a gorgeous setting, lots of privacy, and shared spaces too, with a quirky, homely feel. The staff are so friendly. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes cooking their own meals; the kitchen has a French village feel, right in the heart of the heads in Knyzna.

It’s right on the water, with a wonderful location and a view that’s hard to beat. The place is fully equipped and reminded me of Greece. We enjoyed our stay, though it was a bit expensive. I only wish we’d booked more than one night.
