Cradle Boutique Hotel

The hotel feels quiet and restful while still being close enough to the city if you need something. It made a great short break to recharge, and I’d happily visit again. Our room was spacious and comfortable, so settling in and relaxing was easy. The food was another highlight: I especially liked the oxtail and braised rib. Portions varied a little from one day to another, but the food was consistently flavourful and nicely presented. The hospitality was super friendly, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a calm escape.

The tour with Andrew really stood out. His knowledge and enthusiasm made it memorable, and he went above and beyond. Julia also made check-in warm and smooth, and the reception team stayed friendly and helpful throughout. Theo and Solomon, the drivers, were always professional and pleasant to deal with. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful, with surroundings that make the stay feel special and relaxing. Service was excellent, and I’d gladly return to this hidden gem. The spa treatment was wonderful, from the welcome through to the care during the service. Our arrival was smooth too: security and the young men who picked us up in golf carts greeted us well, and Owen and Solomon gave five-star service. Check-in went easily, the room was clean and ready, and the anniversary bed decorations looked beautiful. The drive in was lovely as well. The restaurant was a very different story on 2nd March 2026. Breakfast and supper both came with slow service that didn’t fit the hotel’s atmosphere, and it really let us down on our anniversary. We’d booked our dinner more than a week ahead, but were shown corporate group bookings and there was no table allocated for our special night. They suggested preparing one for us at the bar. The supervisor or manager said they take walk-ins, so even after staying overnight we could have been left without a table if ten people had walked in. The restaurant left a bad taste in my mouth. @Lisa, I hope you can turn it around. Please don’t put couples second to corporate bookings. The establishment is beautiful, but the restaurant needs work on training, attitude, and speed.

We were looked after from the moment we arrived at the car park, and the customer service was excellent throughout. The rooms felt roomy but still cosy, and every meal we had at the restaurant was great. The spa was just as good, from arranging the booking to caring for us during the treatments. It was a lovely birthday getaway for my wife, and we’ll be back!
