The area is quiet and lovely, with a great green view from the lapa. Several shopping centres are under 15 minutes away, so shops are easy to reach. The older gentleman on duty gave us excellent help at both check-in and check-out. There were some frustrating parts. The female owner responded with a bad attitude when my partner simply asked for the WiFi password. The connection isn't strong and drops often, so a different network or an extender/booster might help. Putting the WiFi details in each room would be useful too. Booking with the female owner by phone and WhatsApp took hours, so having a dedicated admin person manage the business cellphone all day could help potential clients get a quicker response. The pool was easy to access, but the inside walls were dirty, though the water wasn't the issue. Soundproofing could be better. The toilet in Room 2 shakes a bit when flushed, which was a little scary. Payment is cash only, which feels outdated now, so remember to withdraw cash before you arrive. EFT, a POS machine or Scan To Pay would make things much easier.

We spent the weekend with colleagues and found the rooms clean. Staff were accommodating and went out of their way to provide braai and cooking facilities. The room deposits came back without any trouble. It was a pleasant, relaxed weekend.

From the day we arrived for our weekend booking, the owner, Marie, treated us badly. She kept calling us “you people” and said that us black people are very loud. The rooms were very dirty, and most of the time there was no hot water.

The rooms themselves aren't bad, but the staff, especially management, were extremely unprofessional. We had hired around 7-8 units and there was a mix-up with the keys. I tried to politely sort out the logistics, but the receptionist said I should phone the manager instead of the manager calling me. The manager then insulted me and accused me of being dishonest. She was very rude to my partner too.

The room was nice and comfortable, and the service was really excellent.
