Vivari Hotel and Spa by Mantis

The next morning, breakfast brought warm smoothies and eggs served upside down. At BRAMBLES, which is advertised as a 5 star restaurant, we had to ask for napkins after finishing our starters. The waiter said they were in the wash. Earlier, the spa desk had turned us away at 5pm despite its advertised 7pm closing, saying staff needed to catch a taxi, and the employees there were rude. The steam room also wasn't working when we went for treatments, and maintenance was to be called. We had arrived for our wedding anniversary and paid in advance, but the room we were given didn't feel 5 star at all. Its safe didn't work, and we were told someone would look at it the next day. The place refused to refund us so we could leave, saying they don't do refunds. It was a horrible experience, with pathetic service. I feel they're misleading the public.

The people here really made the stay special. Everyone was kind, professional, and ready to help. I also appreciated the restaurant accommodating my dietary needs and its use of local, seasonal, organic produce. My room was spotless and spacious, with lovely decor and a wonderful view, and the food was delicious. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. I'm already looking forward to another trip. Thank you!

My daughter enjoyed the MD 2025 preparations even more than she expected, and the team supporting her said the care they received exceeded their expectations. I wasn't there myself, but thank you to Goitse and the Team for the amazing support and service. Each person made a positive difference in how they were looked after. I'll be a guest on my next visit home. Thank you again for everything, Goitse, 100/10 for the successful hospitality.

The rooms were lovely and quiet, the grounds scenic, and the staff friendly. We enjoyed staying here, but on Valentine's weekend the spa was already fully booked, as was the on site restaurant serving guest dinners. We had to drive elsewhere to eat. Since there isn't much else to do on the property and the appeal is being tucked away without needing to leave for a spa or meal, guests should be able to reserve restaurant and spa spots when they book, before all the spaces are sold to the public.
