We had such a great stay a month ago, from the 21st to the 23rd of Jan, with my partner and our two toddlers. The owner was so kind and gracious, and the place was quiet, clean, and peaceful. Just right for getting away from the daily rush. Can’t wait to come back! The kitchen had plenty of cutlery and cookware, and the fridge and stove both worked well. Each room has a webber braaistand, so just bring charcoal. There’s security 24/7, and even just after the festive season the pool was kept clean and tidy, with spotless floors.

The property is beautiful and the service was excellent. I had an unfortunate hygiene issue at night, though, and was moved to another room. I’ll visit a second time to see whether they’ve improved the hygiene problem I encountered, then I’ll update this review.

The owner made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay at golden dawn Chalets. The ocean views were beautiful, and it was so peaceful and tranquil. Thanks to the owner and staff for making it such a great stay. I’ll definitely be back.

A disaster. The interior is worn, there was mold in the bathroom, and the fridge was so noisy we had to switch it off to sleep. We could hear everything through the connecting door to the next room, along with the smell of their unpleasant cooking. No towels were provided. Not recommended.
