SOU House

We were there for five days. The house was clean, and the workers on duty for the first three days gave amazing service. On the fourth day, the receptionist/cleaner was rude, never greeted us, and kept taking personal calls while we were using the kitchen. Her first words to us were to close the fridge door; later she walked past us to put her own lunch box in it. We left at 11am and got back at 4pm to find our room untouched. When we politely asked about room service, she said it happens between 10am and 1pm, then later, which didn't explain why it hadn't been cleaned. She said she had no spare key and offered no solution, then went back to her call. We said they'd found the key on Friday, and she replied that she doesn't clean unless guests ask. I've never had to request housekeeping at a public accommodation; I expect it to happen when the room is vacant. She looked annoyed and surprised when I handed over the key. On Sunday she didn't clean the common areas either, and told us to wash our dishes because she couldn't handle room service, reception, and cleaning. After we mentioned the owner, her service changed. She made a beautiful place uncomfortable and spoiled the stay with her attitude. She even called out her colleagues and said she had more experience. Appalling treatment, unfriendly and cheeky.
