The peaceful setting and lovely landscape views made for a relaxing stay, and the location is handy for local amenities and essentials. The owners and staff were very friendly and gave excellent service. The rooms are consistently clean, comfortable, and nicely arranged. Good value for money, in my view. Aqua Terra Guest House describes the experience as "Borderline excellence". Value, location, service, rooms, and cleanliness all get 5.0 out of 5.0.

I was in Lydenburg for work for five days and really enjoyed staying at the guest house. Charlene was very friendly, the rooms were nicely set up, and the property is beautiful. The food was very good in both quality and quantity. No complaints, I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lydenburg.

The owners were always willing to help during the two weeks I stayed here while marking NSC papers at the local high school. My dates changed a few times, and nothing I asked for seemed like too much trouble. The property is beautiful, right by the river and away from traffic noise. I'd recommend Aqua Terra to anyone wanting a comfortable stay with friendly staff.

We were welcomed warmly, and the hostess stayed both professional and personal throughout our visit. Our room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. We chose breakfast and were treated to a great meal, with generous portions, plenty of variety, and excellent quality.
