We arrived with only five hours' notice after an unplanned weekend trip and were relieved to find somewhere to stay. The place looked lovely and clean at first, and the staff were friendly, but the room was a different story. The bathroom door looked untouched by soap or a wet cloth, the toilet was dirty, and the only toilet paper was two partly used rolls. Only about half of the curtains and blinds worked. The kettle was broken, there was no sugar or coffee, just dirty jars, and the kitchenette had no utensils or even a wiped counter. The kids' floor under the two single beds was covered in popcorn, so it clearly hadn't been cleaned before we arrived. The beds squeaked terribly, and we didn't sleep at all. Guests arriving after midnight were very noisy, and nobody asked them to keep it down.

My husband got sick while driving us from Bethal, so we had to book a room. The next morning, the person in charge arranged for her mother to drive us back and forth. She was worried about me, even though we'd only just met, and I got all the help I needed, inside and outside, without paying extra. I'd recommend this place to anyone. The pool is to die for too.

The staff were rude and unfriendly, apart from a young woman who was very helpful. The interior is old, the cleaner went through our personal belongings, and the bathroom lacked necessities. The drains were blocked and the cleaning was poor. The curtains didn't open or close properly, and the Wi-Fi advertised for the property wasn't actually available.

My room was generally clean, but the place needs a lot of improvement. It was hot and there were mosquitoes, and a fan isn't enough when you're tired. They should install air conditioning and add cushions to the couch. The TV looks like it's from the 1980s and is probably due for retirement.

There were wet towels on the floor when I entered, and the room didn't seem to have been cleaned. The dinner and breakfast were inedible, so I went out to buy food. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
