The lodge was spotless, the fishing was great, and we took home a few good-sized trout. We were lucky to spot Kudu, Eland, Warthog and even a huge Porcupine. My Dad and I came to Nooitgedacht Trout Lodge for some outdoor Father & Son time and fishing, after one of our clients referred us. We were treated like royalty by the owners and staff. Viki ( Staff ) was very friendly and always ready to help. I'd definitely recommend it for a quiet, exclusive getaway.
The only thing I missed was having a coffee station in my room, which I enjoy. Otherwise, the place is beautiful, the views are breathtaking, and the staff are so friendly and go out of their way. The home-cooked meals were great. I can't say enough about it.
A great escape from the city, with friendly hosts and a lovely atmosphere. The rooms were tidy, clean and had everything you'd need. I can highly recommend it and will definitely be back. :)
What a lovely campsite, such a gem. Perfect for unplugging from screens and spending time with loved ones.
The rooms were comfortable and the service incredible. Fishing here means beautiful scenery, mountain views and wildlife all around. There's also a great camping option. I'll definitely be back.
