Impodimo Game Lodge

Our first safari at Impodimo went far beyond what I expected. Ryan was a fantastic guide, knew so much, and took us to see exactly what we hoped to see. The room was very spacious, the bed super comfortable, and the food delicious. Everyone on staff was friendly and smiling, and the service was amazing. We'd definitely return. Highly recommend.

Ryan made the game drives a real highlight. He knew so much about the animals and ecosystem, and I learned a lot from him. He also went out of his way to find us some incredible sightings, including lions and cheetahs feeding. The lodge is in a stunning spot, with beautifully designed rooms and common areas. The food was phenomenal and varied, and the team was brilliant and attentive from start to finish. I'd give it six stars if I could. A fantastic experience, and I can't recommend it enough.

The wildlife and scenery were amazing from beginning to end, and our first safari became an experience we'll never forget. We saw so many animals it's hard to count. Our game driver Meri and spotter Heron were incredible, and the whole lodge impressed us with its food and the friendliest, most helpful staff. We had a large, comfortable room with a deck, and the hospitality was 10/10. We'd originally booked Kruger, but flooding forced us to rearrange at the last minute. I can't imagine staying anywhere better. This definitely won't be our last safari. Thanks, Impodimo!

We keep coming back to Impodimo because the whole experience is brilliant. The staff are friendly and attentive, every room is lovely, and the game viewing is second to none. We've been out with all the rangers and trackers, and they're all excellent. They know their stuff, answer questions, and work hard to make each drive memorable. Having both a ranger and tracker in each vehicle is a great feature that many lodges don't offer. There are plenty of reasons to enjoy a few nights here: the food has lots of variety, and the elephant hide lets you watch animals beside the lodge's watering hole. The lodge is unfenced, so wildlife can come right up to it. We got engaged at Impodimo in October '24, then returned for a mini-moon in December '25. The staff went above and beyond to make that trip especially memorable. The larger family room also worked well for a group travelling together. I've recommended Impodimo to friends and family, and every one of us has been blown away by the experience.
