Dinner by the fire on the deck, with elephants strolling over for a drink, was one of the loveliest parts of our stay. The grounds are beautiful, and we saw impala, kudu, lions, cheetahs, elephants, rhinoceros, and endangered wild dogs. We also spent time with Jaci for a sundowner, while Tristan looked after our needs and made time for some great conversations. We were spoiled throughout. The accommodations were outstanding, and the service was impeccable, from chef Dee to our personal concierge Malvin and all the wait staff. David was a friendly, knowledgeable guide who went the extra mile to keep us comfortable on chilly mornings with blankets and hot water bottles. It's a hidden gem if you want a true African safari and to be thoroughly looked after. This is the place!

Our fifth visit to Jaci's, and our first time in the Nare Villa. The floods earlier this year caused extensive damage, but our villa was immaculate afterward. The rebuild of the other units is coming along well, and they look like they'll be wonderful in the new year. The villa was ideal for our family of two adults and two teenage kids. Everything ran smoothly: the staff were friendly and helpful, David knew an enormous amount as our guide, and the animals were all out, including the Big Five, wild dogs, and cheetah. We enjoyed great meals and came away with lots of memories. Thanks to Tristan for making everything seamless. We'll be back!

I've never had an adventure like this. Our guide worked so hard to help us find every animal we hoped to see, and all the other staff looked after us so well. I've never felt so cared for. I highly recommend Jaci’s Lodge.

Wildlife was right there in view at this magical place, and the rooms were very comfortable. I loved how they all connect to the deck. Chef Ronald and the host were excellent. Highly recommend it for making the most of Madikwe.
