The people here made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Every staff member we met was ready to help with our requests, large or small, and did so with warm smiles. You can see how much thought goes into all the details of a guest's stay. We had an exceptional, unforgettable weekend at this resort. I was only there for 1.5 hours, so I can't say anything about the rooms. The setting was incredible, with elephants drinking in the water below us. The food and service were spectacular. I had rare springbok steak, cooked perfectly.

We were lucky to explore the reserve with Brian and Charlie. Their knowledge, passion and professionalism made the game drives unforgettable, and they're among the best in the business. The room was immaculate, spacious and private, and Lena cleaned it perfectly each day. Every detail made it feel luxurious and relaxing. From arrival, the whole team was friendly and personable, and everyone went out of their way to make us feel special. Madikwe Hills was an incredible honeymoon, with just the right blend of adventure and indulgence. We’ll treasure it and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend it for a magical safari.

We've stayed at plenty of lodges, and this one wins. Brian and Max were a fabulous team on the game drives. KT and Kea welcomed us warmly and looked after us like gold. Amazing from beginning to end.
