Rockfig Lodge Madikwe

The food at Rockfig was incredible, with every meal carefully prepared and presented. Chef Lesego and her team did a fantastic job. Manny, the General Manager, also deserves credit for a warm, professional lodge where you can feel how much care goes into the details. We spent five unforgettable days there. Pride made every drive informative and memorable, sharing his knowledge of the bush and his passion for wildlife. Thanks too for the surprise trip to the caves and for explaining the area's cultural significance. Thanks to the whole Rockfig team for such a great stay.

KG was the highlight of our safari at Rockfig Lodge. Every drive with him was exciting and memorable, and his passion for the work really showed. He communicated so well and shared loads of knowledge. The whole team made us feel welcome and cared for from the moment we arrived, and now our expectations for future safaris are very high.

KG was a phenomenal guide who tailored each drive to what interested us and worked hard to find as many animals as possible. His knowledge of wildlife and nature, and his respect for the animals, made the drives special. We spent three unforgettable nights at RockFig Lodge in Madikwe Private Game Reserve, where the staff were warm, dedicated, and ready to take care of every request. The houses were beautifully designed and the lodge was spotless and well maintained. We had private dinners, lunch delivered to the hide, and a private bonfire at our villa that created a wonderful atmosphere. They brought drinks to our room when we asked, and no wish was left unmet. It was a magical stay, and I'd highly recommend it for a memorable safari.

We had a great week at Rock Fig and hope to return. The spacious, luxurious rooms and well-kept facilities made for a comfortable stay, and Manie, the general manager, and his team ran things very efficiently. The management and staff were there to welcome us, and every meal was thoroughly enjoyable. Compliments to the chef and her team. The knowledgeable rangers taught us about animals, birds, and plants, and we had excellent wildlife viewing.
