Tau Game Lodge

Watching elephants, kudus, and water bucks sometimes come by rooms 1 and 2 was a treat, especially with the rooms close to a pool. At lunch, animals also visited the water hole visible from the restaurant. Our rooms were spotless and comfortable, and had air conditioning for the hot weather. Staff cleaned them while we were out on game drives. The food was nice, too. Lazzy made the holiday so much better, with his knowledge, friendliness, and great sense of humour. Thanks to him and everyone at tau game lodge. This was the most fantastic holiday we've ever had, and we'll definitely be back.

Seeing wildlife gather at the waterhole right in front of the lodge was one of the most special parts of our stay. The nature around Tau Game Lodge was breathtaking, and Hardy made every game drive more enjoyable with his knowledge and humour. My husband and I were there for our honeymoon, and the staff made us feel so welcome. They even surprised us for Valentine's Day and our honeymoon, a lovely bit of thoughtfulness that made the trip more meaningful. I was pregnant during the stay, and the attentive staff made sure I was comfortable, so everything went smoothly. We loved the food and the warm, friendly hospitality. We wholeheartedly recommend it and hope to return. A once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Our ranger Herman really made the wildlife sightings special. He knew so much about the animals and always went the extra mile to help us see them. Big 10/10 for Herman. We had a wonderful few days at Tau, with friendly, helpful staff throughout. Being able to look out at the watering hole from every room was a special touch.

Motso did her best to answer all our questions and went after the Cheetahs, which we finally saw on our last full day. She was knowledgeable and helpful as our ranger. Our family from the US had a wonderful four nights and five days at Tau Lodge. The attentive, friendly staff, great rooms, and service made the stay comfortable out in the bush. There was excellent variety and quality in the food, and they made sure two of us had gluten-free and lactose-free options. I'd highly recommend it for families of any size or age.
