Ikhutse Manor Guest House

I was really impressed by the staff and the rooms. The service was great too. I stayed there to be closer to NWU for my daughter's Grad.

I was lucky enough to stay for four nights. The host and staff did a great job keeping the rooms clean and looking after things.

The garden was a nice place to relax, and the covered, secure parking gave me peace of mind. I also found the guesthouse centrally located, easy to find, reasonably priced, and close to lots of food outlets. The staff were welcoming and very pleasant throughout my stay. My room had a modern bathroom that was clean and thoughtfully put together. It also came with a fridge, kettle, microwave, cutlery, and tea and coffee. There was a TV, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi that worked perfectly. Fresh towels, soup, and body wash were provided too. I was very impressed with my stay. It was comfortable and convenient, good value for money, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an easy, pleasant stay.

The rooms are comfortable, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. But the noise from other guests and their loud music was a problem. Worse, there was no backup water. I had to ask staff for a little water just to wipe myself, then went to work without bathing. I thought there would be water when I got back, but there still wasn’t any. The owner isn’t doing anything to make sure guests can bathe. Hygiene matters, and how are the toilets supposed to be flushed? They need a Jojo tank or a borehole for backup water.
