I only came here for a funeral in the chapel, so this rating is just about that visit, not the whole place. The chapel had a really good atmosphere, though the hard wooden benches were so uncomfortable, with backs so low it felt like sitting on concrete. Parking was adequate, and I loved the gardens' bushveld feel.

The location and road getting there aren't ideal, with a township nearby, but those concerns faded once we arrived. The venue itself is amazing. Our room was nicely furnished, though the shower floor could use some attention. Everyone was so helpful and went above and beyond. I didn't have time to try the pool or tennis court, just walked around, but I'd like to come back in summer. The library is great too. A real hidden gem worth staying at.

We had a lovely weekend here. Mom celebrated her 70th on Saturday, then I stayed the night and had my birthday breakfast on Sunday. The team made everything feel special, with so much attention to detail, smiling service, tasty breakfast and warm hospitality. It's hard to believe you're still within greater Johannesburg. Thanks again for such a great time.🥰

There's a lot for families to enjoy, including swimming pools and lovely, well-kept grounds. On many weekends they have live bands, so call ahead to see what's on. The food is delicious and reasonably priced: burgers, chicken, beef or veg, are R50, and beers are R22 each. No draught beer, though. It's a very beautiful place.

Everyone had such a good time at my daughter's 21st last night. The venue is stunning, definitely a gem, and Nice by Nature were fantastic. I'm already thinking about organizing the next party there, with the venue as 'The Venue'. I'd absolutely recommend it.
