Just spent the weekend at Laguna La Crete no 73. Everything was beautiful, and the place was clean, neat and tidy, with an amazing view. Thanks, Karin. We’ll definitely be back.

Laguna la Crete 166 was clean, quiet and in a safe area. Everything was well organised, and the flat had the things you need around the house, including an iron and washing basket. There were emergency lights and a portable gas stove in case the power went out.

After more than 10 years working in hospitality and travelling around S.A. for work and stays, this is one of the worst places I’ve experienced. Reception gave little to no information about the rooms or what was available at the establishment. The rooms were shocking, with some looking as if they were built, furnished and painted in the late 80s. For a self-catering unit, there was no Wi-Fi or satellite TV, leaving me wondering what guests are expected to do. I strongly suggest avoiding Laguna LA Crete if you want a family holiday or getaway.

The rooms are spacious, and the hospitality was very good. Everything was squeaky clean, except the DSTV hadn’t been paid for.

Unit 178 is in a brilliant location, with Uvongo pier literally just outside the complex. Uvongo Spar, McDonalds and other places of interest are nearby. If you plan to use the beach and lagoon, though, I’d suggest booking a unit lower down, closer to the exit.
