Mimi's Retreat

We could hear the waves at night from Mimi's Retreat, just one block from a pristine beach, and it was convenient for exploring the South Coast. Luzia & Greg were wonderful hosts, welcoming without hovering. The place was secure and impeccably clean, with braai areas at both the front and back. They'd thought of nearly everything, from games, cards and DVDs to washing powder and basic groceries in the pantry. There were also all sorts of electrical gadgets for cooking, even for baking up a storm. And Mimi, the Sylvester Cat on steroids, was part of the fun. We had a very happy, memorable holiday. Highly recommended.

We felt at home straight away at Mimi's Retreat. It had everything we could need, including a dishwasher, washing machine, purified water machine, spices, pots and pans. The photos don't do the place justice, and it exceeded our expectations. The garden was lovely, full of different flowers, and the whole place had a perfect feel to it. It also had an alarm and CCTV for extra security. Luzia & Greg met us when we arrived on 08/02/2019. They're a lovely couple with great personalities, very helpful and easy to get along with. We stayed for a week without any problems. Mimi is a beautiful, friendly cat, just like her owners. We were sad to leave on 15/02/2019, but we know we'll be back in the near future. This was one of our best holidays in Ramsgate. I'd recommend Mimi's Retreat 110%, you won't be disappointed.

The view is amazing, and the beach is only a few minutes away. The owners were so warm and welcoming, and helped us with everything we needed. I would've given this place an even higher score if I could. Highly recommend!

Great accommodation, and the hosts were lovely and really helpful. There's a cute cat too. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
