We came all the way from Cape Town and would definitely plan another visit. It was such a peaceful, relaxing break from everyday life, with different animals to see and interact with. The splash pool was lovely on warmer days, and the house had nice views from everywhere. I'd recommend it to families looking to get away from the rat race.

The best part was having antelopes, warthogs, zebras and bushbabies wander straight in from the bush and carry on with their lives just metres away. The children loved the small pool, and the adults enjoyed several braais in the garden. It was easy to walk for 10 minutes and see animals on the other side of the Crocodile River in Kruger Park. The house was comfortable, with spacious bedrooms and private bathrooms, plus cosy spots for eating, resting and playing. We felt very at home. There was a lot of art around the house, too. The whole family would love to come back one day.

The house has a lovely layout, and all four bedrooms with their own bathrooms were great. The blinds without curtains are a privacy problem, though. The bedding needs an upgrade as well. It was too cold with only a sheet and a light blanket; duvets and extra blankets would help.

We enjoyed feeding the antelopes, zebras, kudus and other animals. It's a beautiful, peaceful place to relax. This was our second stay, and we're sure to return.
