The kids loved this lovely little home, and it made for a great stay. I can’t fault the home itself. I did feel the owner was somewhat unreasonable during checkout, making accusations that didn’t seem properly supported. Still, that didn’t spoil the experience for us.

We were only about 15 minutes from Kruger National Park, and supermarkets and places to eat were close by. Prices were ridiculously low: a Coke was €0.60, a litre of petrol €0.95, a whole chicken €3, and 600 grams of very fresh boneless chicken €6. The house was great and had everything we needed, with no extras we didn’t need. Mostly, though, the patio was the thing to watch: we saw everything from predatory cats to wild pigs, wildebeest, and goats. Great experience.

I’ve rented Annemarie's house twice. It’s a wonderful, private spot near Lionspruit.
