Breakfast on the patio with wildlife around was a real highlight. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. The owners are kind, genuine people who clearly care about their guests and go out of their way to make a stay special. This lodge is a special place, and I’m already looking forward to returning with my nephews.

We had dinner included, and it was really good, with South African specialties that all tasted great. The host and staff were lovely, and the accommodation had a great atmosphere. It’s in a very good spot if you’re planning to visit Kruger Park. We wish we’d booked a longer stay.

The breakfasts and dinners are a must, and the activities and airport pickup were great too. It was my first safari and my first time in South Africa, and this place gave me wonderful memories. The owner and staff provided excellent service and helped with everything we needed. I can’t say enough about it. Book here and you’ll have a fantastic stay with everything you need.

The owners and staff made us feel more like friends than guests. Everyone was welcoming and so friendly. The rooms and shared areas are gorgeous and feel really special, and the lodge is right in the bush, not just near it. It’s also close to Crocodile Bridge Gate of the Kruger National Park, though you enter a whole other world as you drive through Wielewaal Bush Lodge, if the Zebras let you through. Be sure to book the food at Wielewaal, it’s all delicious and special. We’ll definitely return on our next trip to South Africa.
